Avengers Age of Ultron – Trailer

A new trailer of The Avengers: Age of Ultron has been release and this time it looks like it’s more focus on Banner a.k.a The Hulk. We could see The Hulk going all out and The Hulkbuster is trying to “Calm” him down. Don’t get us wrong, the trailer itself is bad-a** with Hulk smashing and Ironman whacking but like the other trailer, it has some clues on what to come. But first enjoy the trailer first.

So now comes down to our a little CSI investigation. First is the part this:

Who is this? At one glance it looks like Nebula from The Guardian of the Galaxy. However after close inspection we noticed that the left hand of this unknown character look very organic. Nebula’s left hand is robotic. So should we rule out Nebula? No we are not, as this is not concrete enough to support our claim. So we will leave it at that.

Next is this this:

So what is this? Looks like a Transformers trailer but it isn’t (Ofcourse is not). It has a big number 5 so we are assuming that this is the storage of the PeaceKeeping dormant. However what puzzle us is that why are people running towards it. Are they running there for cover as we could see below:

dormant trailer

Take note that even thou there is new plot to the movie, Joss Whendon did mention previously this movie will continue from Captain America: the Winter Soldier. So we won’t be surprise if Bucky makes an appearance. For the previous trailer and info on The Avengers: Age of Ultron click here. T

SpongeBob and Monday

The Monday song from SpongeBob. That guy really need to come and stay in Malaysia and we bet he would hate Monday like the rest of us. For now just enjoy his Monday song.

Taken 3 – Review

If you felt Taken 2 was “Lather, Rinse & Repeat” then Taken 3 is “Someone Forgot To Turn On The Washing Machine”. What should’ve been a one-off, Taken becomes a Straight-to-TV trilogy.

It ends here? I sure hope so.

It ends here?
I sure hope so.

When an ex-covert operative (Liam Neeson) is framed for the murder of his wife (Famke Janssen), he not only has to find who murdered her but do so while evading the pursuit of the CIA, FBI and the Police (Forest Whitaker). With only revenge and his daughter (Maggie Grace) on his mind, can he make his wife’s killers pay and clear his name?

Stereotypical Good Guy Ex-Super Spy meet Stereotypical Good Guy Detective

Stereotypical Good Guy Ex-Super Spy meet Stereotypical Good Guy Detective

Well, I’ll try to start with the “good” since there’s barely any “good” in this movie to be honest. The acting was as good as it possibly could be given the stereo-typically written characters.

There, that’s “good” done. Really, that’s it. Now on to the bad.

Taken 3’s scenes felt rather choppy, as if they had a deadline and editing had to be completed in the final 30 minutes. I’m not gonna get into any details as those would be spoilers but there is gonna be a tight situation for the protagonist and he’d get out of it with zero explanation as if they forgot to film a scene or something. Besides that, there’s the cheesy cliche of flipping stuff across your fingers if you’re in deep thought like the baddie in Casino Royale and his love for poker chips. The movie is written by Luc Besson, who makes pretty entertaining French movies but is pretty rubbish when it comes to English movies except for Leon the Professional, that was a good movie.

Olivier Megaton (Taken 3's director) saying to his audience, "I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long career. If you watch Taken 3, I will not only take your money but I will waste an hour and a half of your life as well."

Rating (3/10)

Should’ve been a “straight-to-Cinemax” type of movie. The cast’s acting ability is limited by cliche filled characters. Bad directing, generic plot. You’d probably forget about Taken 3 a week after watching it.

Unfortunately, not boss enough to save this movie.

Blackhat – Trailer

Another trailer of Blackhat featuring Chris Hemsworth has surface. The previous trailer has been promising. The story is about a man who is released from prison to help American and Chinese authorities pursue a mysterious cyber criminal. The dangerous search leads them from Chicago to Hong Kong. Watch the previous trailer here.

Ant Man – Trailer

The first of Marvel trailer is finally out. So in short, it’s about the idea of of a man shrinking to the size of an ant to fight crime. We are still digesting the idea with Micheal Douglas passing the torch to his new successor. Enjoy the trailer for now.

Before Scarlett Johansson who was the first choice for Ghost in the Shell?

As some might have heard that Scarlett Johansson will be playing the lead role in “Ghost in the Shell,” a DreamWorks production. The 4 times Golden Globes actress is known for her action movie will be playing Motoko Kusanagi, a law enforcing cyborg.

It’s reported that DreamWorks has been eyeing on Masamune Shirow’s Ghost In The Shell  for many years and the first person who was considered for the role of Motoko was non other than Margot Robbie. However due to her commitment to DC’s Suicide Squad she had to forfeit the role. Honestly we would prefer to Margot but maybe it’s for the best.

The movie will be directed by Rupert Sanders. Production date has not been release so far.

Rambo 5 – When will it end?

2015 has kicked off and it was good until Sylvester Stallone decides to another Rambo and this time it’s called Rambo : Last Blood. However that doesn’t confirm that it would be the last Rambo movie even thou it’s called Last Blood.

This year would certainly be busy for the 2 times nominated Oscar actor as another Expendable and another Rocky Balboa movie will be out.
Also there’s Scarpa, a movie about a enforcer for the Colombo crime family.

However that wasn’t the script that original script. The original script was that Rambo leading a team of mercenaries to locate a creature that escaped from a laboratory and it’s title was The Savage Hunt. Thank god as that would have sounded like an Anaconda movie. anacondarambo

The question here is when will it end. The first 3 movie was good, the trilogy of Rambo’s and the forth movie he ended it by heading back home. Now it’s like another chapter has begun and this time he is going after the Mexican cartel.
