THE BOOK OF LIFE, a colorful and vibrant movie. The movie tell of the a story between a towns hero and heart following dreamer to win the heart of the ever brave – Maria.

The movie is a combination friendship, honor and love. It begins with Maria whom both Monolo, a guitarist who follow singing instead of bull killing like his family and Joaquin the son of the town’s hero. The both have battling with each other to win Maria’s heart ever since they both were a child.
However their fight has been taken to another level as Xibalba and  La Muerte bets on who will win the heart of Maria. Xiabla is the ruler of the Land of the Forgotten and he is sick of that. He has been eyeing on La Muerte place for a long time. La Muerte is the ruler of the Land of the Remembered. Land of the Remembered is place where there is party 24/7 and happy while the Land of the Forgotten, pretty much is dull and forgotten.

After years has passed, Maria has grown to be come the a beautiful lady.  Joaquin is strong and feared by the bandits while Monolo is a famous bull fighter. Even thou he is a bull fighter, Monolo hasn’t killed a bull before. His heart is still being a guitarist.
Xibalba who choose Joaquin wanted to win the bet so much that he cheated making sure that Maria will choose Joaquin over Monolo.

Plot: 6/10
Imax/3D: Not much of 3D. Even the interaction was 2D

Remark:  It’s an awesome animated movie. Loving the colors and the accapella songs. Kids will love for the friendship and adults would love it for the love.
A great movie to watch with the entire family.
