Captain America: The Winter Soldier – Review

The Cap is back with more action and more Black Widow action. The first Avenger steps up in his sequel and it was better. Chris Evans really showed pure Hollywood acting along side Scarlett Johansson and Samuel L. Jackson. Let’s talk about the new cast.

The Winter Soldier

Captain-America-Sebastian-StanThe winter soldier is none other than Steve Roger’s best friend, Bucky Barnes. Bucky Barnes was supposedly died in the first instalment of Captain America: The First Avenger.  He re-emerged as an super enhanced brainwashed assassin.

The Falcon

Sam Wilson, an ex-paratrooper trained by the military in aerial combat using a specially designed wing pack. He works at the VA to assist with mentally wounded soldiers. One thing for sure, he isn’t your common African-American superhero who tries to be funny.

Agent 13

Sharon Carter aka Agent 13, Steve Roger’s hot neighbour who is actually a S.H.E.I.L.D agent. Her mission is to shadow the Cap. However the twist doesn’t end there, she is actually the niece of Peggy Carter. Peggy as you remembered in the first movie was the Captain girlfriend.

Alexander Pierce
Alexander PieA senior leader within S.H.I.E.L.D., a member of the World Security Council and an old buddy to the untrustworthy Nick Fury.
Unlike his comic role, Alex would later betray the Fury under HYDRA ideology,

We have to hand it over to the Russo brothers. The storyline is nothing what we expected even thou bit and pieces were shown.
It all started with Nick Fury having a hunch that something was going on when Black Widow brought back a pen-drive that contains  a AI programs. Right after  that he was attacked and killed by the Winter Soldier. During this time the Cap and Winter Soldier met each other.
S.H.I.E.L.D put a dead or alive notice on Captain America and Black Widow and of course the 2 start investigating Fury’s death. Cap. was surprise that HYDRA was behind these attacks and start planning an attacking route when he learned that time is running out.

Plot: 8/10
Review: 8/10
