Mr. Peabody & Sherman – Review

Mr. Peabody, the world’s smartest talking dog, has invented a time machine he calls the WABAC, which enables Peabody and his adopted human son Sherman to witness world-changing events first hand. The movie is based on the 60’s cartoon Mister Peabody.

To be honest, it does remind us of Meet the Robinsons with the entire travelling to past and future but however Mr Peabody step’s up a little. The movie talks about fatherhood and how one should never be judge he/she/it’s appearances.

Unlike your typical cartoon animation, Mr Peabody and Sherman a little educational in terms of history. We loved the history lesson and how the jokes were put in.
Mr Peabody is voiced by Ty Burrell who also voice as Captain Marvel in the The Super Hero Squad Show series. Sherman is played by Max Charles.  This is the kid who played Peter Parker when he was a kid in The Amazing Spiderman.

Sherman is having some problem with a kid in school. To ease the tension between, Mr Peabody invite the family over for dinner. That is when Penny Peterson aka the kid decided to try WABAC to see the past herself. Ofcourse nothing goes as plan and Penny got left behind in ancient Egypt. In order to save Penny, Mr Peabody had to go to the past and save Penny but however the gang end up in trouble themselves. During this journey is when Sherman found his inner confidence.

Really educational in term of history.
