Furious 7- Review

The sent off of Paul Walker in the seventh instalment of the Fast and Furious franchise is nothing but ambivalent. The movie didn’t deter from it’s original core which is about family and cars. Paul Walker will be forever be remembered as the guy who loved imports.

Plot
After London, the crew was suppose to retire and relax but some but however London followed them back. In Fast and Furious 6, the bad guy a.k.a Owen Shaw (Luke Evans) was defeated and Toretto and his crew got what they all wanted; to be able to go back home. The Shaw saga didn’t just end there. His brother decides to revenge his brother as he always as. He started his revenge by taking out Han in Tokyo. He continued his skirmish by attacking Toretto’s house.
The crew quickly assembled and started to study the enemy. Hobbs was hospitalise due to Deckard Shaw’s(Jason Statham) attack to gain info on the brothers enemy.
The battle between Shaw and Toretto gets the attention of Frank Petty (Russell) and Frank agrees to help Toretto if he and his crew help him to secure God’s Eye, a computer program that could track anyone. In between that, Shaw tries to block Toretto’s team and all hell get lose.

FNF7 had all. The cars, action, girls and tribute. Totally loved how their focus was about family.
The beginning was the follow up of Fast and Furious 6 where Han was killed. Also we saw Brian O’Connor(Paul Walker) living a different life, driving a mini van. Toretto and Letty are still trying to reconnect.
The cars looks absolutely stunning especially the $3.4 Million Lykan Hypersport to the Scion TC. We have no complain on that department. FNF7 delivered what we expected for the car department but how about the action.

The action is a little over the top a certain part(The car flying between building) but other than were more acceptable. Even to the part The Rock got serve by Jason Statham was a little to much but comprehended. Other than that was more familiar with FNF4, FNF5, and FNF6.

The girls we have are WWE Superstar Ronda Rousey who had one on one battle with Michelle Rodriguez who plays Letty. The is basically a She-Rock whacking everything she lay her hand on. Next would be the Ramsey played by Nathalie Joanne Emmanuel. She is a little to fragile for this role in our opinion. Could have found a better role who is both daring and innocent.

The tribute was directed beautifully by director James Wan. How we wish to remember Paul Walker was done in a way to suits him the best. KUDOS to the team. We are still wandering how could FNF franchise would be without Paul Walker.

There is no other franchise that could be able to deliver what Fast and Furious is. The story of family that’s not only on set but off set. Our hearts goes on to Paul Walker and his family.
