The Lego Movie – Review

If you have seen Toy Story 1, 2 & 3 and loved them; you’re definitely gonna love The Lego Movie.

“Hi, I’m President Business, president of the Octan Corp. and the world,”says Will Ferrell as the ruler of Legoland.

The story is about Emmet, who is mistaken as the messiah of Legoland. Yes it’s like the Matrix but without the black suit parade.  The city of Brickksburg is controlled  by Lord Business  and everything there is expensive. Very much like our current situation but in a funny way. Emmet(voiced by Chris Pratt) is the alone all the time as he is always ignored by his longtime co-workers — because they completely ignore him.

Everything changes when one day  he accidentally stumbles upon ‘The Resistance Piece’ and is thought to be the Chosen one by a group of Lego characters called the MasterBuilders(very the Matrix). The adventure is join by Batman(voiced by Will Arnett), Gandalf(voiced by Todd Hansen), Han Solo(voiced by Keith Ferguson) and many.

A must not be missed movie for the year 2014.

Lego – Movie Coming Soon

“The LEGO® Movie,” the first-ever, full-length theatrical LEGO® adventure, from Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures, opens in theaters beginning February 7, 2014.

Directed by Phil Lord & Christopher Miller (“21 Jump Street,” “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs”), it stars Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett, Nick Offerman, Alison Brie and Charlie Day, with Liam Neeson and Morgan Freeman.

The original 3D computer animated story follows Emmet, an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world.  He is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared.
